This data is sourced from the Study for the Development of the Master Plan for the Development and Operation of Waterways carried out by the consultant ARTELIA under the supervision of  APN in 2015.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"FR\">Built over 60 years ago, the Port of Garoua has not seen consistent activity due to silting. the National Training Course on the Tools Needed by Decision-Makers for the Successful Implementation of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, with the following objectives:<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Raise awareness of the STCW Convention and Code, the 2010 Manila Amendments, and subsequent amendments to the STCW Convention and Code.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Strengthen the capacities of key personnel involved in Cameroon in the effective implementation of the requirements of the STCW Convention.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">These are the key points addressed in the work monitored by three experts appointed by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) in relation to the awareness-raising workshop on the SCTW Convention.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport, this workshop, which took place from 27 to 31 May 2024, was attended by 30 officials from various national
