APN APN

The National Ports Authority (APN), a public administrative and technical body with legal personality and financial autonomy, was created by the French law  n° 98/021 of December 24, 1998  on the organization of the port sector in Cameroon and organized by Decree n°99/126 of June 15, 1999modified by Decree  n° 2019/172 of 05th of April 2019

As the State's secular arm for the implementation of Cameroon's national port policy, and the linchpin for the coordination and monitoring of port activities, the APN plays a very important role in the process of building an emerging Cameroon by 2035, through the enhancement and promotion of the Cameroonian port area.
