MARITIME TRANSPORT : 18th Session of the MOWCA Ordinary General Assembly in Congo Brazzaville.
From July 19 to 21, 2023, the 18th session of the Ordinary General Assembly of the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (OMAOC) was held in Congo Brazzaville.
Transport Minister Jean Ernest NGALLE Masséna BIBEHE marked Cameroon's presence at the meeting of ministers in charge of transport held on July 21, a major stage in the GA.
This was preceded by a meeting of experts which took place over 03 days, from July 19 to 21, 2023, and was attended by Dr Louis EBOUPEKE, Managing Director of the National Port Authority, and a delegation of executives from the PAD, the CNCC and the APN.
The work of this AGM is expected to :
👉 The installation of the new President of the Organization in the person of the Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation and Merchant Marine of the Republic of Congo Brazzaville, Mr Honoré SAYI.
👉 The election of the new Board of Ministers for a 2 years term,
👉 Review of the OMAOC SG's activity report,
👉 Resolutions to implement the Organization's Action Plan.
